Hugues Hénault, is Senior Partner and President of the Trencadis Group, and has over 20 years of experience in operational excellence, operations management, business process improvement and training. Prior to founding Trencadis Group, he worked for Connectware Solutions, Rio Tinto - Alcan, Bell Canada, Vancouver Organizing Committee for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games (VANOC), Belron Canada and HGH Enterprises.
On behalf of HGH Entreprises, Mr. Hénault has held positions in several companies such as Richelieu Hardware, Standard Products, CAE, General Dynamics, Dollarama, Belron Canada, Astral Media, Bell Media Quebec, Montreal Transit Corporation (STM) ), APICS Montreal, the Quebec Manufacturers and Exporters (MEQ).
He was the recipient of the 2008-2009 Logistician of the Year Award presented by Gestion logistique magazine and the Corporation des Fournisseurs du Québec.
Hénault graduated from École Polytechnique de Montréal in June 1997 with a degree in Industrial Engineering.
Since graduating, Mr. Hénault has not stopped perfecting his knowledge. In 2007, he completed a master's degree in engineering management at the Université de Sherbrooke. At the same time, in 2002, he obtained the CPIM certification (Certified in Production and Inventory Management) from the international organization APICS, where he sat as president of the Montreal chapter from 2007 to 2009. In addition, in spring 2017, he earned the SCOR-P designation to use the SCOR model, recognized worldwide as the first supply chain framework, which uniquely links people's processes, performance indicators, practices and skills within a unified structure.
He is also a member in good standing of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec and the APICS Operations Management Association.
